The Cooper film is "Adaptation", where screenwriter Charlie Kaufman and his (purely fictional) twin brother (both played by Nicholas Cage) try to adapt an unadaptable book called "The Orchid Thief).

I first noticed Rachel McAdams in "The Notebook", where she stole the show. Prior to that she was in "mean Girls" and after that "Red Eye" and "Wedding Crashers". For such a young actor she has quite a range.
