what's good for the goose is good for the gander. But since you're a bit too dense to figure out that the gist of post was centered around the ability of the film, through the relatively realistic appearing battle sequences, to raise the emotional level of the viewer (as all good Art should do) I'll not attempt to explain it a second time for you.
And you're right about WAITING. I should have stated that the movie makes one feel that the time between the two incidents would appear to be too great coming from an American's point of view and had we had them that week, P.H. would have warranted their use right then and there. But this is just my opinion.

I got the "gist" of your post. You, on the other hand, should address the topic, and not weasel out of it with your "dense" comment. I may be many things but I have never been called dense. There's a first time for everything, I guess. What's next -calling me a liberal or a commie, 'cause you don't like what I said?
Dense or not, I realized the patriotic zeal of your post. Perhaps you should let your boiling blood cool off and look at things in a different perspective.
