Another Criterion. I have been wanting to see it again for over twenty years, savoring that incredible impression that I remember from the past viewing. But it has been eluding me, and perhaps just as well. Things like that should be taken in EXTREME moderation.I am talking about The Seventh Seal.
Another great success for Criterion, with both the image and the sound done to perfection.
As far as the film itself - to it has always been one of the most significant films in the human history. The emotional effect it produces is so strong that it can more than easily spoil your movie going pleasures for weeks to come, therefore the warning.
Anyone else seen it lately?

Again, Victor, another GREAT film.About 2 months ago I first watched The Seventh Seal, and I also watched The Last Valley during the same weekend. The Last Valley is certainly not in the same league, but again, a worth while film.
Both films onr now on my list of favorites, which I do intend to watch time and again; and recommend to others.
