A fine list. IMHO

Shane. A genuine 4-star classic. With High Noon, Stagecoach, and My Darling Clementine, one of the definitive westerns and a truly great film.

It's A Mad, Mad.....is a hell of a funny film. I love it but will admit that it is an aquired taste.

God's Little Acre is a fine film but I wouldn't call it a classic. Read the book and you will know why. Course, it was probably as far as they could push the envelope in the early '60s.
