I don't know why I get off on oddball flicks like Trixie. It's a character flaw I guess (I mean, the best film I saw all last year was The Big Kahuna...it was, well, instructive seems to be the word for me, and DeVito shows some class that gets often overlooked.) Anyway, Trixie is a masterpiece of the mis-statement; every single line in the movie is just a little bit off, and forces you to listen very closely:) The reaction of Nolte (the politician) to Trixie's simpleton misuse of language is absolutely classic. Only a politician would miss the obvious:) Trixie's real name escapes me, but I believe she played the wife in Angela's Ashes.I saw it on one of my movie channels, but I'm gonna rent it so I can write down some of the truly brilliant one liners:)
