Well, talk about inconsistency. There are some great titles, but there are stinkers too.How on Earth could anyone put the Umbrellas of Cherbourg (a crap) in the same category as Wages of Fear? Gesus...
Or Rules of the Game (a true classic) next to the tinsel Un Coeur en Hiver?
But then... one could do WHOLE lot worse than just renting this whole list.

I agree with you but " un Coeur en hiver " is not a tinsel.by the way what is it ?
Any way sound bad... no this is a great film.
Tinsel is something superficially attractive but of little real worth. That is how I felt about that film. It was pleasant with good actors doing their best... but not much substance.By substance I mean something that keeps you coming back to the film in your thoughts, sometimes months later. That one you enjoy and forget, move on. But I can't tell how many times you recall in your mind the 8 1/2 or The Seventh Seal.
