Hello Victor,You're very welcome, as usual.
A few things about the film series ' Kozure Okami ' @ The Babycart Assassin or whatever.
The story was serialized for TV in japan, and I think was more successful than all the
subsequent movies. The story is immensely popular in Japan, and if you really want to
enjoy it, the best was is through the manga ( jap 'comics' ) which ran in the 70s.
Written by Koike and illustrated by Kojima..it is extremely cinematic in its handling
of shots to compress or expand time. It was an extremely influential series, and transcends
the common ghettoization of 'comics' as a serious medium over here in N America,
unlike say Europe who have their luminaries like Moebius et al. Luckily for all you Americans,
The' Lone Wolf and Cub' manga has been translated and reissued over here. Also, you mention' Crimes' but never 'Husbands & Wives '...didn't like it?
Regards,
A.
