I think that today I wouldn't put either and would put THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN instead.

Never much liked THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY. Except for Eli Wallach and the great Morricone score, the movie isn't very good. I think HANG 'EM HIGH is a much better film and I don't think Hingle is bad at all. However, stupid me, when I made the list I forgot all about HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER, which is better than both of the other Eastwood oaters mentioned.
