I'm going out on a limb here, cuz I haven't seen this movie, but based on its previews, I can surmise the following:

This was a GREAT movie when it was released as Braveheart.

And I guess, it was still a decent movie when it was released again as The Patriot.

Now, it's getting old. Mel Gibson...different war, same plot.

If Anthony Perkins were alive, I'd advise Mel to have a chat with him about the pitfalls of typecasting.
