I have a wooden shelving unit for a HT rack. (wooden spindles separate each of 5 shelves)
It takes a bit of patience, but I used plain black cloth, Taped it to the top shelf at the back(If you have a component on the shelf, just set the back feet of the component on the cloth, and then ran it down the back of the rack to the bottom. I cut some slits in the cloth at each component level to feed the cables through. It ain't perfect but it does help to hide the worst of the cable's from view.My uncle on seeing the back of the rack. "How in the world did you figure out where all those wires needed to be connected".
Not something i would do...... No need to mess with inductance if you don't need to.... However, if you must..... You could use the flexi-tube, velcro ties, or simple zip-ties... the flexi-tube gives the 'nicest' look..www.partsexpress.com
