I am looking into the possibility of turning a nearby closet into my HomeTheater equipment closet. Problem, I only have roughly 22.25" in width and 21" in depth. Most racks look like they're 22.6" at the smallest in width (too bad because Audio Advisor has a sweet looking deal on the Lovan Classic I). My wife wants it to be done with, but I want it done RIGHT. Any suggestions on brands/models, or a DIY option that still gives me quality and isolation. I also thought about skimping somewhat on the rack, then sandbagging the equipment to compensate. Any thoughts? Any help is appreciated, Matt.

I definitely don't recommend skimping on the rack. I don't think it a good idea to rely on tweaks to isolate equipment, rather start with a good foundation and build upon it with tweaks.I'd go the DIY route because of your size limitations. There have been many posts over at the DIY forum that discuss this option. I'd recommend doing a search and researching in that way.
Good luck to you!
