Has anyone had experience with both the Pioneer DV-09 & DV-37 players?I'm mostly interested in standard CD playback and interlaced video performance. I would be playing video through a 27" Sony TV w/ sound through a 2 channel stereo system (old NAD 7225PE receiver, Tannoy M2 speakers).
The models are w/in about $100 of each other on the used market, with the older DV-09 being more expensive.
Has Pioneer given up something in moving to the progressive scan DV-37 or is newer truly better and the market hasn't caught on yet?
thanks

Follow Ups:
I've owned a Pioneer Elite DV-09 for about a year, and have had problems with playback of 2 releases: "Dr. Zhigavo", and "Les Miserables, Concert Version". The playback problems include pixelization, audio dropout and frames freezing. Theses occur on different copies of each release, but, not alway in the same location. Twice, the unit has been sent to an authorized repair center (United Radio in Syrcacue, NY) and the laser pickup was replaced each time, but this has not corrected the problems with these 2 realeases. There is no software upgrade for the DV-09.Has anyone else had similar problems with these, or, with any other DVD's? Thanks.
You can do a search at Ecoustics for reviews that have been done.
When I looked at a few they gave mixed opinions, but none were strongly in favor of either for CD playback.
Not having the experience that many in the forums seem to have, I depend on trying to find a general consensus among reviewers. Ecoustics is one of the best compilations of reviews that I have found.
