Video Asylum

Being new to the DVD market, I don't know as much as I need to know. I have narrowed down to two. The interesting thing is that I can get the Marantz DV4200 for about the same price as a Sony DVP NS400D. I am told that the Marantz is the better DVD player. Is this true? The fact that the Marantz plays MP3s is not relevant to my decision. It will be hooked up to a rather modest Pioneer reciever and a Sony 27" Triniton TV.
