I have a 20" Toshiba flatscreen, and it has the component video inputs. It is not a HDTV set, and I am curious if I can us a progressive scan DVD player with it.Thanks,

Follow Ups:
You would need to use the DVD player in non-progessive (interlaced) scan mode, however that's accomplished. If the TV is not a so called "Digital TV" or "HDTV ready," it can't scan at a high enough rate to enable you to view a progressively scanned DVD.Todd
