This is a dumb question, but in my area I will not see HD TV for a LONG time. I have a Sony 65XBR10W (without the HD tuner) I want to get a dish to get the most from my TV. What are your opinions on dishes and where to get them and what type is best? Also is it true, that the sat. receiver will act as the HD tuner? I will not actually need a seperate tuner for the TV until the HD is available in my area?I know Circuit City, Radio Shack and those stores, but are there any hidden catches or anything to look out for? Also is there any brand of tuner better than another. I have seen RCA's, but I don't know much about there quality. just looking for opinions and help! Thanks
Bill

Hi, I assume you are in the US.You have 2 choices: DirectTV, and Dish.
Dish Network uses a model 6000 receiver that will decode the satellite HDTV feeds and pass them to your TV. It also has an optional add in module for Over the Air broadcast decoding. With DirectTV there are many manufacturers who offer set top boxes that are capable of decoding the signal.
You should check out www.avsforum.com for discussion on the merits of the various products.
hope this helps.
