Doesn't your TV have audio-out? I believe that's a pretty common feature these days, even on relatively cheap TVs.

I hadn't originally thought about using the TV tuner. I have a new Mits 65" and so I figure it should provide a better feed to the receiver than my old VCR, but I will try both out and see if there is a noticeable difference.
