My HT room is on the first floor of the house. I ran PVC conduit from the wall behind the TV, underneath the floor, and coming out at each rear side wall where the rear surrounds go. This allows extreme flexibility for changing wires, etc. The ends of each duct are finished off with a solid faceplate with a hole drilled in the middle for the wire.Learn more about this technique on the PS Audio site under their Listening Room article.

This is such a great idea. I'm now thinking of changing the wire to my sorrounds since I've seen signs of corrosion in the wire. If I had done what you are suggesting this would be a piece of cake.
