The idea of swapping a separate Sony s300 DVD player, an aging dbx cdp, and the hassle of searching out and loading couple drawers full of disks, sure makes the dvd megachanger + redbook dac look attractive. I'd probably go with a Pioneer unit. Comments?

Actually I would take what Rod said step further, I would get a high quality CD player and DVD player. If you MUST have a multi-changer then look at Rotel or NAD. They are at least decent will match the quality of the rest of your system. I firmly believe that the source must be of the best quality you can get, so put your money there. I think you will be surprised by the improvement.
A friend of mine bought one. AFAIK, he loves it, but not for CDs. It's a Sony and sounds good and plays DVDs nicely, but loading a CD takes longer and requires intervention or something. Unless you plan to buy 300 movies and want them online, I'd buy a regular jukebox and a single disc DVD player. Otherwise, be sure the interface and loading is what you'd expect. I'd like one with 2 readers for instant fades. Oh yeah and it ought to do SACD and DVD-A multi-channel.
