For some reason I have trouble getting information from the web on this subject. What direct-view 16X9 preferrably HDTV models are currently available? Will be for a small apartment, so as small as 28" is ok. Thanks for any and all information.

Panasonic has the CT-30WX50 which can be found for under $2k. Also, the Philips 30PW3815 (I think that is the number) can be found for a similar price. I am probably going to get the Panasonic soon...but I want to make sure it is the same as the 34WX50 only smaller before I buy it.
