Thanks. I did buy it. The color and clarity are great, once I got things adjusted. But now on day three (of course), it started to tune out, where the picture gets broken up by gray areas and sometimes goes to no signal. This doesn't happen with DVDs or video, and seems connected with reception (I don't have cable). Do you find that your XBR's require a stronger signal than others, or is the receiver component on mine simply wearing out. I have an amplified Radio Shack antenna, which works for some channels, and a rooftop connection which works for others.
Follow Ups:
Sounds like the tuner in your XBR is out. One way to find out is to feed it with TV signal from the tuner section of a VCR. I have never found it require strong signals. Peter
