I too have found LDs that have been out of print for nearly 20 years on ebay. Search and ye shall find...

It sounds like you guys may just be putting laserdisc in the general search engine. You will get far more listings by going to the laserdisc category, accessible off the home page through the DVDs and Movies category. Within the DVDs and Movies category, there is a subheading that says "See all movies categories," and if you click on that, you will see all sorts of video formats, including stuff like 16mm film. There is a laserdisc category, followed by a number of genres that I never bother with, as different people will list the same laserdisc in different genres. However, the main laserdisc category generally has between 7000-8000 listings, usually around 7500. I have that category saved on my My eBay page as one of my favorites and do most of my searches just within that category. As I was telling Peter earlier, putting laserdisc in the general search engine can allow you to find some additional music titles if you just click on the ones categorized as music, as some people list music laserdiscs in one of the music categories, not in the laserdisc category. My experience, however, is that you will find more music laserdiscs in the laserdisc category under DVDs and movies.
