Video Asylum

i have a geforce 2 mx400 w/ a tv out plug. i have hooked it up and set my computer to be viewed through my tv.everything works except i cant play dvds through my computer when i have the nView enabled. Does anyone know a way to get around this. I dont want the dvd to works so i can copy them, i want it to work because i have a small monitor and i recieved a nice sony tv for graduation and i would like to watch them on it without going out and buying a dvd player.
