Has anyone (or is it even possible) ever routed their dvd digital output channels through their CD players digital input for a superior sound quality. I have a cary 303 player and I'd like to give it a try. But before I blow anything can anybody tell me if the concept is even plausible. Not too familiar with the digital aspects yet.

Do you mean your DVD player has DIGITAL Audio out jacks? I did
not know that was done. I've only seen Analog line outputs used.
