I had Emsembles. The only thing that ultimately persuaded me to get rid of them were Magnepans! In the realm of little speakers on stands plus a sub, the Ensembles were tremedous sound for the price and not bad regardless of the price. The only thing is that you should take advantage of the size and move them around on stands until they sound right. If you hang them on a wall, or stuff them in a bookshelf, they don't don't sound that special.BTW, I'm not convinced that the Newton series are a big enough improvement to justify the higher price. They also just don't seem to be in the true "Henry K." spirit.
