I'm assuming you are using an RF Coax connection and using the TVs tuner to tune in the channel, and this is the reason you are getting the problem with only some channels.I'm sure this is the nature of the beast with the "Magic Box".. Have you tried different RG6 Cable (Quad Shielded)? Some people have gotten rid of the notorious cable-ground problem by simply grounding the cable coming into the house to the same ground point of your house's electricity. This may be the cheapest and best solution to your ground-loop.

I second that. The cable company ground was a screw into the painted electrical box! A rotten connection! I ran a solid copper 14 gauge wire from the CATV house input to the house ground and bolted it on. I receive all stations through my MAGIC, baseband to superband to digital premuim channels, perfectly.
