I have a great home theater set-up. I was recently doing an upgrade of my VCR to a new S-VHS, and got a good deal on a JVC.The new VCR, however, (and almost every other VCR I have been able to uncover stats for on the internet) is TOO TALL! I have a glass shelved rack with no height adjustments, and with the other components installed, I have only 3-3/8" of space for a VCR.
Older models were about that high, but new VCR form factor is closer to 4", and it just won't fit. :-(
I'm looking for a recommendation, if anyone can provide one, of a nice S-VHS VCR that is short enough to fit... any ideas???
Follow Ups:
look at the Panasonics, they tend to be shorter in height and they may still make an S-VHS version... BTW, the only thing i still buy from JVC are the VCRs... they are great....everything else they make (TV, DVD, Receivers) are crap. This is from my own personal experience.
Well... I think I figured it out.I shuffled some stuff around to different shelves, and cut the feet off a component or two. It's tight, but it all fits!!
Man, I'm addicted to this crap. Is there a home theater/stereo addiction support group anywhere?
