  Don't buy a HDTV at this time that does not have DVI/IEEE 1394 connectivity. All 2003 sets will have this feature. Basically what will happen in the future is that you will not be able to watch some programs broadcast in HDTV in HDTV without it; the signal will be "dummied" down to lower resolution.
