$600??? You talkin' about the recorder? Even the RP91 can be found for under $400.Try the Panasonic RP62, RP82, or if you can find one, the discontinued RP56. Sage-Faroudja de-interlacing, good MPEG decoder and no chroma bug.

Hey, I'm talking about stand-alone DVD RECORDERS, not players.
That would be the Pano. DMR series. DMR-E30S looks good, prog.
scan output, just over $500.
Don't know what model, did'nt know they made that many. The
price was from Video Only (local retail chain). RP 91 sounds good,
will do a search for best price. Thanks.
