I have the Samsung SIR-T151 HDTV tuner. The tuner is antenna only! It works great right out of the box. I put up two TV antennas, one facing north towards San Francisco, for most of the local stations, and one south for one more station. My TV is a 60" Mitsubishi. What I saw was that in the 1080i mode I didn't like the formats I had, so I went to 480P and there it was OK. I later did a few mods to the power supply of the tuner just because I can never leave anything alone. That helped. I can see that when the tuner shows the channel number it says TV-(channel number). Now that all shows as little sq blocks, whereas before it was kind of fuzzy. The tuner shows more like what you see on a plasma TV, more glossy look to it. I can wait for the time when all the stations in my area are real HD. Good Luck, bobwire

Reading what someone said here got me to thinking about my 151 tuner. How long it takes to change channels. I had not given it much thought. So, going from one channel to another using the number buttons takes a whole five seconds. Going from a channel back to the last whatched using the previous button takes two second.
I'm not sure if using DVI(digtal-all-the-way) makes any difference or not. By using DVI to my Sony RPTV, it takes less than a second to go from one channel to another. Also DVI connection provides the best image I've ever seen as compared to component or even RGB.
