when you buy a new disc, make a copy right away, then seal the "real" disc and use the copy until it gets moldy (a few years I'll bet) then just repeat.This is not a crazy as it sounds...it will especially help with storage...you could use those 500 CD binders to store the copies, cutting your storage space to a fraction. You then keep the real discs in their cases in a box in a closet that has a de-humidifier running in it.
