anyone looked at both?and how many versions of the outlaw 1050 are out?
i was told i don't want the older series 1050.
any advice please.

If money is the main issue, go to harman kardon's web site and buy manufacturer direct. You can get a factory refurbished/blemish receiver for 2/3 the price and still get the full factory warranty.If money isn't the issue, next look at features: 320 blows away the outlaw. However, keep in mind that in order to put everything into the 320 that they have, corners must be cut somewhere.
Finally, where were corners cut? Sound-I recently spent an evening with the outlaw and it sounds great. Also, I like the outlaw remote much better.
If it were me, I would opt for the outlaw and skip the harman.
