If you EVER hear any sonic difference as a result of "break-in" you are one of those rare individuals with hyper-sensitive hearing or (not so rare) over-active imagination.......BTW if speakers DO break in...Is it always an improvement??....Just wondering...
Follow Ups:
It's the same as having a new car with factory speakers. You set the receiver to output a certain amount of bass and treble and never touch it ever again, then all of a sudden it starts to sound different after using it for about 2 months.....the woofers start stretching more and as a result producing deeper bass. To me it's an improvement, since I can't listen to speakers "right out of the box", which is why I set them up in a room and play them very low for about 2 weeks(about 2 hours per day for 2 weeks).
