I am trying to buy a system for my daughter who is in 20's. 5 channel probably with a good sub. Have up to 3K to spend. would love to keep it to 2K. Is bagend good stuff? I am attracted to their package deal and going with B - stock.l. What would you recommend as components?

if they actually manufacture the speakers and aren't farming that out to some other company paying a license fee to use their name, then the speakers are probably pretty good. they specialize in making very durable, excellent sounding cabs. i own two of their bass cabinets and it's amazing how much better they sound than the majority of cabs out there.
as for keeping to a budget under 2K, that shouldn't be difficult. a company i've heard great things about (and which i'm purchasing for my own home theatre in the next couple of months) is axiom audio. they have a couple of systems that would fit the bill and leave a few extra bucks in your wallet.
