My dad got a Panasonic SA-HE70 receiver, a very low-cost unit, which he likes - BUT. The left channel on the front speakers went out. He had put a new pair of speakers in front, then heard a horrible screeching, which he couldn't turn off at first. Now there is no sound in the left front channel. He has checked his speakers and they all work fine on the right front channel but when switched to the left, it's no go. The center channel and both back channels work fine.I suggested he send it back to the retailer. It's only 4-6 months old.
Any help on this one? Something he might have forgotten to check? Or is there a separate fuse for the left front channel that might have blown?
