I've recently purchased a Sony KV-32FS100 and am looking for a DVD player to add to it. I've narrowed the search to the Sony NS900V and NS755V. Apparently the NS900V has been discontinued so it's being offered for $389. I've done a search and was not able to find a review that compared the 2 units.Could anyone here share their experiences with these units and/or provided some insight into either unit or both? I'm hesitant to purchase the NS900V because the design is getting long in the tooth (circa 2001?). But if it still better than the NS755V, then it may be worth it.
Thanks
Oh, my reason for choosing these is partly because of their reputation with SACD playback. Also, I figure a Sony DVD would be a good match for the Sony TV.
Thanks, again.
Follow Ups:
I compared the ns900v and denon2800 in my system and found the 2800 to had a slightly better picture especially in progressive mode, and since I already had a sacd player I bought the 2800. I find it to be less "bells and whistles" heavy than the sony with emphasis on quality parts and I also hear it makes a very good transport. If I did not already have a sacd player, I would have bought the ns900v at full retail of $900. For you I'd say get the ns900v for the steal price of under $400. You'll have a good sacd and dvd machine.
