Video cables are coax design with a specific impedence, plus they would contain shielding for both RF and LF blocking. Some would even come with impedence matched connectors for signal integrity.Audio cables could be of any design, from twisted pair, unshielded, 2 completely seperate wires, coax, etc. So it all depends on how the audio cable were build.
Also, progressive output from source component could only be transmitted via component connections, not S-video.
