I have a dell mp2200 projector and just got digital and HD cable service from comcast. I notice that with the projector on and connected via Component video cables to the Motorola cable box I get a scrolling Green bar on the screen. This bar appears on all channels and even when the projector is tuned on but after the cable box has turned off. As soon as I unplug the RG-6 cable from the back of the Motorola box the Green bar goes away, but returns when the RG-6 cable is reconnected.Using the same input on the projector and the same Component video cables, my progressive scan DVD player is great, and does not have this green bar issue.
The projector is compatible with the following standards: NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV (480i/P, 576i/P, 720P and 1080i)
