and the point one means only one discrete feed to a sub-woofer. Splitting the low frequency output of 5.1 is something you have to do with you set-up if you prefer and wish to maintain the LFE routing the way it currently stands. For those who wish to run more than one sub-woofer, some subs are available (Martin Logan for example) with line in and out connections. your case requires a little bit of improvisation. It seems as though splitting the LFE o/p is the only easy way.

Thanks for the input. I am still on a learning curve, and I appreciate any knowledge that will make me a more informed buyer, and listener. I would especially like to avoid having misconceptions about what might be needed or what is available to improve my system. I love listening to music, and am trying to learn how to enjoy it more.
