I have digital cable in my living room with a digital receiver. I have cable hooked up to my tv downstairs but I can't get all the channels. Is there a way to get all the channels I get upstairs on my basement tv without renting another digital receiver?
Follow Ups:
Get a modulator that converts the s-video or composite / audio signals out of your cable box to be combined with the analog channels. You can do the same for your DVD, VCR, DBS, etc. You will need some type of remote repeater system to change the channels on your cable box from the basement. Remember that the digital channel that is selected will be viewed on both tvs, since the cable box only has one tuner inside. The book "Smart Homes for Dummies" has some good basic info on home video distribution, plus lots of stuff on the web.
