I've got new DVDP teething problems with my Pan S35. Or a disc problem. But my Lord of the Rings/Two Towers disc freezes at one point -- where Aragorn falls off a cliff hanging onto some beast. Talk about a machine getting all choked up at the peak of the action! Seriously, it won't play past that point. Even if I go to the menu and try to leap over that section. This DVD played fine on a laptop a month ago. Now it halts and displays H05 on the player's display. Anyone know what that means? THe S35's instruction book says it has the capability to display a 'Clean Disc' message, so I assume it isn't that. It plays the accessory LOTR disc fine. And the night before it played another movie OK. So is it the disc or the player? Regrettably the disc was a promo gift and can't be returned.
Follow Ups:
Dear
I´ve got the same error, I think it happens when the player tries to access the second data layer on the video disc.
Did you get some answer to your question?Davi
I also had the same problem.
According to the manual, Turn off the dvd.
Then is starts playing again.
Mine would not even play after this particular error H05.
I tried other dvds which played before, no luck.
I never thought Panasonic would have such quality problems.
It is not the DVD disks, it is the player for sure.
