While at Best Buy one night I saw what I couldn't beleive. In the appliance section, the actually had Monster dryer power cords! That's right those big 30a crowfoot cards that are always sold with electric dryers if you don't hardwire them in. They claimed better performance of the dryer due to "cleaner power" from their $50 cords!Well I happend to take note there was no UL listing in their cord. The chepa $14 Carol cord next to it did have all the proper agenct approvals. I called Best Buy and reminded them that it's illegal to install these cords in most counties and that their sale of them could hold them liable in the event of a fire or electrovution.
About a month later the cords were gone. Perhaps for some other reason but it's nice to think I got them!
