Optoma (if I'm thinking of the right compnay) makes outstanding DLP front projectors and came to home AV from the custom installation sector. I haven't really seen any of the RP products yet so I can't say how they stack up. Be worth investigating.

Korean LG - yup, they're big. They're into all kinds of electronics. They're aggressive marketers. They might be fine. I dunno - I'd be cautious.

I bet your question has been chewed over more than once at avsforum.com - I'd do a search over there.
