best: Pioneer DV-59AVi ($900 - $1200)The DV-563a will do if you really want a Pioneer and one that's inexpensive ($129 -$149). By the way, these are pretty much the only Pioneers to consider, as the rest are pretty much crap (re: video).

Agree with Joe 100%With Pioneer there is no middle ground.
Over here they excell with a cheepie 676A and the higher priced 969AVI.
