Not that the broadcasters are using it yet (that I know of) but it would be nice to get a HD tuner that ignores the brodcast flag before it becomes an issue. What brand / models are you looking at? Not sure how my Samsung HD tuner deals with the broadcast flag.

BTW, I have one of the orignal Sony DVD players with macrovision defeat by simply moving some switches inside. It works out great for copying my DVD's to VHS so I can loan the tapes out w/o fear of someone scratching my DVD. (Especially useful when loaning the videos out to kids)
