I'm trying to connect a Sharp XVZ-12000 projector to a laptop.
The DVI input of the sharp is already in use by a DVD, so I need to
connect using the component input of the Sharp.
I tryed a cable adapter from HD15 from the laptop to a 3RCA component,
but the projector not is recognizing the signal.
Please, can someone help me?

You probably need to enable video output from your computer. This may be in BIOS setup, or somewhere in windows. Sometimes combination using "funct" key on the keyboard does the same. But if you are trying to watch DVDs using lap-top, it probably won't work. So do not play DVD when you try this, just leave normal desktop screen on computer while trying connection.
HI,

I´m already activate the video output from the lap tpo, but it still not work.
Somebody told me that I need to use RGB not component. I will try it.
