You're dreaming. Analog will not be phased out in "a year or so".Look at this board. Look at A/V magazines. All of us are having problems getting HDTV.....and we know what to do. Sort of.
Think of the millions upon millions of standard TV's in homes, hospitals, waiting rooms, nursing homes, etc etc. If these sets are "phased out", the roar to congressmen would be deafening. Not going to happen.
Besides, the broadcast TV station owners will eat their young before they turn over those analog frequencies to the feds like they promised. Wait and see.
