I have a JVC TV connected to a Yamaha DVD S540 with a Monster S-video cable.
The TV is not connected to anything else.
The DVD is connected to a DAC with a s/pdf Kimber digital cable.
If I touch the tv screen while watching a dvd, pops come through the speakers.
Same pops occur from time to time when playing movies.
Does someone know what can be happening?
Follow Ups:
Kimber Kable Digital-X. Not worth a crap just like the rest of their products imho... buzz words with nothing to show.
I replaced it with a basic Interlink Data 100 coax from monster cable and the problem is gone... I can't explain it though.
Whether it's analog interconnects, digital/video interconnects, I always find Monster cable to be on top of the game.
