I responded to thread over at www.audiogon.com asking for someone to post a link to better define what they actually do. All I know is that the picture resolution goes WAY up. "Cinema-Like" is a good term.

There are many models to chose from, some are fairly inexpensive and some are quite expensive (like the big Farouja).

What's your budget?
