So, on my SAT when a dd signal is present, I have customized the dsp for DD+Dolby PLIIx, which gives me all eight speakers blowing. So far, any manual work that I have done I have chalked up to the learning curve. Sorry I cannot answer more speciffically, but a kid probably will just have fun w/ it.

You choice for the 235 over the 135 was a good one. I think the 235 is an impressive package for its price. Let me know how you like it after u break it in.
