That's why i kept the Denon 5900, even though it definetly exhibits the macroblocking (macro-annoying) bug.... I ended up buying an iScan HD from DVDO and connected the 5900 via the component outs at 480i and let the DVDO do the scaling to 720p.

later, when i can afford to, i will upgrade them to SDI..... but, quite frankly, the image is stunning now and may leave well-enough alone.
